Project Overview: The Concept

The Concept In a city defined by glass and steel, Sukoon Villa stands as a testament to the grounding power of earth and history. Named after the word for "peace" and "tranquility", a term shared by both Arabic and Hindi languages, this residence creates a spiritual bridge between the ancestral warmth of an Indian Haveli and the modern luxury of the Dubai lifestyle.

Architecture & Facade

The structure rejects the harsh glare of the desert sun in favor of cool, shaded intimacy. The facade is clad in authentic Dholpur Sandstone, hand-sourced from Rajasthan, lending the home a golden, timeless warmth. The defining architectural feature is the intricate Jaali screening, modern geometric lattices that cloak the upper floors. These screens act as a traditional brise soleil, fracturing the intense sunlight into a dancing pattern of shadows while maintaining absolute privacy.

The Interior Experience

At the heart of Sukoon Villa lies the Aangan (Courtyard). This central, double-height volume serves as the lungs of the house, circulating cool air and connecting the private quarters with the social spaces. The interior palette is a study in "Indian Modernism": floors of cool Italian marble bordered with handmade Athangudi tiles, offset by the richness of seasoned Teak wood joinery.

The transition from indoor to outdoor is seamless. The formal living area (Baithak) features floor-to-ceiling glass pockets that slide away to reveal a Mughal-inspired garden. Here, linear water bodies and fragrant Frangipani trees create a microclimate of cool air, turning the pool deck into a private oasis shielded from the city's bustle.
